Thank you for bringing Ann Bancroft, polar realities and climate change to life for us in an interesting and compelling way Cambray. More importantly, thank you for drawing attention to the very sticky issue of advocacy and the personal responsibility (despite personal discomfort) that each of us who live a life of opportunity and privilege owe to the society who has provided the opportunity and privilege.

What is it within us as humans that we prefer to struggle with frostbite, danger and fatigue ahead of public scrutiny and potential scorn? If the ingredients to constitute a 'courage potion' cannot be found at the very polar edges of our planet, then where? My deep respect for Ms. Bancroft's life work of advocacy.
